I am a passionate Longmont Colorado based photographer starting a new life after military service. For about five years photography was just a hobby but this year I am fully dedicated to my passion. My goal is to capture the beauty of our world we hold so dearly. I want to show you and everyone you know how sacred and awe-inspiring earth truly is.
I grew up in a world I did not understand and could only process it on a small scale, now that I have gone through so many experiences, through my Navy career and otherwise, I can see things in a bigger picture. These experiences taught me that we should work to preserve our beautiful landscapes and diverse cultures, not forget them for the instant gratification on our little phone screens. We should be out in the wild enjoying what mother nature has so graciously gifted to us.
A little bit of my story; I am a six-year Navy veteran who fell in love with photography throughout my travels around the world. I have visited 14 countries and lived in 4 distinct parts of the earth, so I love to meet new friendly people and diversity in my local community makes me feel most comfortable. I shoot with my Fujifilm X-T5 and a variety of lenses ranging from my favorite 50mm vintage Pentacon lens all the way to my 100-400mm Fujifilm lens Every now and then I will go out with my little Fujifilm X20 on walks for fun.
